The Lindsay Tin – They Wear Wolf

The Lindsay Tin are Paul Christian Patterson (a founder member of alt electro outfit d_rradio   and dark folk group The Dark Sky Singers)  and Paul Jeans (the sole member of Jeans goes POP!) –  and as of 2013 Rich James on upright bass, Jonny Rix on guitar and Dom Murphy on drums.

They began writing together in early 2012 during the winter months in a small attic room in South Shields, overlooking the rugged yet beautiful North East coastline.  Here they started crafting provoking, intricate and thoughtful insights on the human condition in its many forms.

The Lindsay Tin shortSince playing their first gig in July 2012 they have gone on to share the stage with artists such as Thomas Truax, The Cornshed Sisters, Misty’s Big Adventure, She Makes War, The 1930’s and Barry Hyde.

They released their debut single Fire At Will on 26th November 2012.

The Lindsay Tin have now released the video for ‘They Wear Wolf’, the lead track from their upcoming EP.

We had a listen to They Wear Wolf:

Tribal vibrations are followed by tingling guitar contours. An ascendant voice follows. This waxes and wanes – as the instrumentation gathers little by little.

The budding lyric “They Wear Wolf …. in London” is a brilliant and moving chorus. The imagery is thought-provoking – and the song is intriguing fun,  and thoroughly diverting.
