The post punker’s ‘Letters To Fiesta’ lead singer Anna-Louisa Etherington and her new band Acre Tarn have just announced their debut EP via Tri-Tone.
New track ‘Wishing Bone’ has just been released.

We had a listen:
A grubby, listless beat emerges from a dark hollow place.
Dry clefts of rhythm have notch-like characteristics.
Drooping branches of accompaniment expose damply decomposed vocals (both male* and female) – and these bioluminesce gently into something radiant and pure.
Sometimes the voice of Anna is alpine-high – reaching sheer heights of pain. But it can also fall tragically into the mulch of this sacred grove.
This song is too complicated and too sacred to be played only once.
The sap of voice flows like blood from the heartwood soul. And the majesty of the ferny instrumentality attracts you deep within the folds.
