Dedwardians Are Like An Animal

We have described The Dedwardian sound as “Twangy rock ‘n’ roll with harsh voices and witty American kludgemanship…” And now the warped garage rock outfit from old London town return with their brand new single, Love Sick.

They play Finsbury at the Manor House on Dec 18th 2015.

Meantime, we have been watching their brand new video ‘Like an Animal’ :

Croaking, clucking guitar twangs resonate uncontrollably – and stream out of the cage… Weaving spirals around a stampede of stuttering drums.

Then the voice wallows in – sluggish – like a buffalo with his withers caught in the mud.

This is a fighting, twisting, gouging song … but all the violent energy is weighted down by the heat and intensity of those pure-yeast, swampy vibes.

Creaking-gate guitars, jabs of hollow drums, prongs of urgent bass and the type of voice that makes you sweaty and muddy just thinking about it.
