The talented Toronto based electro-organic dream pop trio For Esmé comprising of Martha Meredith, Dave Thiel and Nathan Crook have released their new video & single titled ‘You’.
Perched precariously between the unpredictably of the nouveaux and the inklings of nostalgia, this song is about being open to new joy.

We had a listen:
The freshly rippled synth-shapes form happy bubbles as they swim along under a looped ‘you’ lyric.
The entire piece swells gradually, like sun-warmed summer grain.
The voice is a bit out of the box, even eccentric at times, but this adds to the quirky charm.
And the beautiful guitars radiate out to accentuate the illuminated atmosphere.
This is sound made with a gladdened heart, a tasty treat for fans of pop-art… But also for all those who want to lose themselves to the rhythm.
