Here on Raw Ramp Island we have been listening to a new Danish act called HÔN — and a single titled Honeydream from the White Lion LP.
You can compare HÔN (which — by-the-way — is based around the extraordinary cloudy-sweet vocals of Jesper Lidang — the singer for “The Rumour Said Fire”) — to bands like Chairlift or Beach House.
This is softouch dreamy rock a la 1980’s… With lo-fi ambience, race-heart drum-machines and fresh melodies, made with care…
The single will be released on the thrilling Scandinavian label called Tambourhinoceros.
