The band will hold a special album launch show at Dingwalls, London on 12th September 2024.

Brave Rival stands out from others with their distinct edge, thanks to the talented dual vocalists, the flighter Chloe Josephine and the fighter Lindsey Bonnick. Guitars are provided by Ed ‘the Shred’ Clarke, drums are by Donna Peters, and Billy Dedman delivers bass. Together, they become a powerplant of unstoppable quantum-energy!

With their modern approach to classic rock, Brave Rival have gained a devoted fanbase across and beyond the UK, to receive recognition & praise from critics since their formation in 2019.

Indeed, we described their stage-show as an “elixir for sonorific dreams” and “a multidimensional experience”.

If you like your blues-rock to come with a dash of sexuality & wigglesome charm, combined with more-than-a-touch of fiery drama, and you enjoy the type of intrigue that shades an inner darkness, you’ll absolutely adore Brave Rival!

Brave Rival Fight or Flight
Fight or Flight– a courageous work that overflows with benevolence

Opening the album, Bad Choices captivates with a twangy, urgent pounding beat that sets stage for a dramatic experience across all twelve tracks, and in this case is highlighted by a chorus that will stay with you for weeks.

Seventeen is an electrifying, nostalgia-driven song that encapsulates the boundless ambition & insatiable spirit of adolescence. The percussion is outstanding and the guitar work is mind-blowing. This song assertively admits the petulance of wayward juvenility… and why reflection on development matters.

Will Wilde, an exceptionally talented musician, showcases his earthy harmonica skills in the powerful song Stand Up. The track starts with a distorted guitar, reminiscent of weathered ironwork, before transitioning into a captivating riff anchored by Will’s remarkable blues-harp skillset. The vocals are intensified to accentuate a multi-layered arrangement, resulting in a powerful and almost predatory atmosphere. This is an electrifying song that uplifts and honours perseverance & courage!

The power ballad Fairytale starts with a mix of doubt and hesitation, perhaps set in a woodland glade, though a country-rock guitar comes in to overturn the misty scene with an impressive display of energy, that showcases the band’s characteristic tenacity. It’s a courageous work that overflows with benevolence.

Blame The Voices indulges in resentment & fury. In this one-of-a-kind song, listeners will find a mix of piercing voices, energetic guitars, lively percussion, and forceful bass. This song is strong, sinewy, showy, and astute.

Stars Upon My Scars is a sorrowfilled bluebird— a lament filled with passionate vocals, delicate guitar, and a set of melancholic black-armband rhythms. Prepare yourself for immense honesty, clever musicianship, and vocal artistry that holds nothing back!
