RAW RAMP
in supercool rhythmicity…
The most illustrious guitarists in the world, including Steve Vai, Al Di Meola, and Joe Bonamassa, have publicly praised the 28 year-old, with Vai describing him as “the future” of electric guitar.
Mancuso employs a finger-style right-hand technique that’s evocative of contemporary flamenco to bend his rock, jazz, and classical guitar shapes, though he picks the strings like a classical guitarist might, thus applying a free stroke with his index and middle fingers.
His approach can be discovered in “Silkroad” (shared below), which is filled with interesting textures, plangency (when needed), becomes illuminated by brightened subpoints, and is always incredibly flexible in supercool rhythmicity. Communicatory!
