MILKFEST– a charity live music event that celebrates the best of British blues for a single day at London’s Indigo at the O2, has been nominated for Best UK Blues Festival at the UK Blues Awards.
On March 1st 2026, eleven talented bands and artists will each perform for 45 minutes at Indigo at the O2, highlighting the diverse British blues scene and representing the best of blues-influenced musical artists.
THE MILK MEN, who will host and who also founded this one-of-a-kind event, will be joined by Ivor Novello winners, Grammy nominees, UK Blues Award winners, and famous-name chart-toppers!
We described last year’s event as: “filled with life, love, and joy in music…”
At MILKFEST 26 UK blues great Elles Bailey, who is currently in the top 20 albums, will be making a guest appearance. We’ve described her songs as: “infectiously inspirational…”
Dementia currently impacts
half the UK population,
either as patients or caregivers…
Other performers at the 2026 event will include Squeeze’s Chris Difford, the blues rock legends the Climax Blues Band, the UK Blues Band of the Year Brave Rival, the vocalist of the year Alice Armstrong, the acoustic act of the year Mississippi MacDonald, and the UK blues challenge winner Errol Linton.
Also performing will be Hamish Stuart and Robbie McIntosh, known for their work with Average White Band, McCartney, and the Pretenders, while The Milk Men will, once again, host the event. See the event poster (below).
Milkfest’s profits this year will be donated to Dementia UK, an organization that supplies nurses to families affected by dementia. Dementia currently impacts half the UK population, either as patients or caregivers. Last year the event raised thousands of pounds for the Brain Tumour Charity.
Festival organiser and Milk Men guitarist Adam Norsworthy says: “We are thrilled to be hosting Milkfest again, at one of the world’s most iconic venues. We have an incredible range of artists performing on the day for a very special cause – dementia, which now affects one in every two of us as a sufferer, carer, or relative…”
