‘Stuck On Planet Earth’ are a three piece Canadian indie rock band from Vaughan, Ontario. The band consists of Adam Bianchi (vocals/guitar), Al Capo (vocals/ bass) and Andrew Testa (drums).
‘Stuck On Planet Earth’ formed in 2007 and have since released four EP’s – with their latest ‘Play Along’ charting on The Canadian iTunes Alternative charts.
‘Stuck On Planet Earth’ have received national and international radio play and in May 2013 they released their first single: “Better” which charted at #40 on the Canadian rock/alternative chart.
We had a listen to “Better” – here’s what we thought:
“Better” has a great big lolloping rhythm – like the sweated muscles of a hyena on the prowl.
A propulsive fragmentation of edgy and grungy guitars then extrude themselves through the gaps in the sound – like thick blood oozing from an open wound.
Here and there are peaks & troughs of sound that will surely excite you – the glow of a majestically high chorus one minute … but then the stark contrasts of those harrowing deep-bass sounds in the lower moments.
This is very addictive. Black as coal and permanently undeniable.
