East London quartet Felt Tip have released their new EP ‘Simple Things’ this week.
We listened to title track “Simple Things”:
It’s a clinking and lively affair – a fulsome jamboree of beautiful nebulosity and bright guitars.
Within the crystal structure is a juicy beast trying to get out – but kept trapped inside by an inner shell of exciting beats and impressive collapsing drums (Tom).
The guitar-work by Anton Trampon is incredibly tight … the voice of James Tyler is less-so … it sometimes wavers and falters – but manages to keep up.
Like a disobedient puppy eventually restoring the trust of his walker.
