Martha Paton is a fantastic new singer/songwriter from Hampshire (UK).
Her new EP “Panoramic” – a blend of folk, pop and country – is released digitally this summer (iTunes/Amazon/Spotify)
The artist is also embarking on a “Martha’s Vineyard Tour” where she will play live sets in some of England’s finest vineyards!

‘As Far As I’m Concerned’ is a tinkle-trinket number. The creamy voice is agile and lively – and the notes are acutely lengthened.
The song soon blooms out from its pinched origins – to reveal a lush landscape of warm feelings and beautifully evocative harmonies.
And we are left with a simple equation: “Happiness = loneliness + you.” Let’s all whistle along…
After the chocolate ripple of ‘For You’ which sounds like a cowboy song, we get to the insistent jerk of “My Foolish Thief” and some one-woman-band sounds.
This is a ribald busking number. Filled with lovely lyricism and a jolly swagger – this makes you smile – and turn around – to spin a silver coin into Martha’s expectant hat.
The re-stating finger-picked riff on “When We Get Old” is movingly accompanied by a haunting cello.
This is wise and prim. A sensitive look at the aging process. Without getting too mushy.
