Psychedelic siblings Allison Pierce and Catherine Pierce have now issued their new album ‘Creation’ on iTunes.
“Believe In Me” – from Creation – is about the joy of finding someone that you really connect with after a period of loneliness.
It has clattered, unruly percussion and a humming backdrop.
Against this – and some vast squiggles of synth-based energy that splurges and spurts forth like giant gobs of paint – the rather timid vocals glimmer rather than shine out…
They are like the silver beamings emitted from a timid neutron star, faintly luminous against the magnitude of gravitational energy collapsing around them.
In all, it seems as if some rag-tag elements from The Lion King (musical) cast got way-laid and mixed up with Florence and the Machine.
There’s not a lot of cartilage on this track.
But nevertheless … it’s filled with stars and wonder!
