Blythe Pepino’s vocal is ripe and moody – pomegranate stained – it tells of ache and passion. It often appears as sheer as a negligee – but it feels deep and warm – like recently worn velvet.
This is an expertly produced number. Passionately rendered.
It sits somewhere between the emotional turmoil of Florence + the Machine and the super-smooth elegance of Alicia Keys.
