New York City funk-rock band L Train featuring Crystalla Gonzalez on vocals, with Gabriel Castellar (guitar / vocals) Luis Padilla (bass) and Tristan Green (drums) started out life as a Queen’s subway busking band – before moving on to play many prestigious venues around the city.
Now they release “Can’t Pay Bills” – a concept EP depicting the highs and lows of New York City life.

We have been checking the single “The Rent is Still Too Damn High” – taken from the EP:
A lewd, confident and plucky beat starts off this movin’ and groovin’ track.
Then that incredibly clear vocal from Crystalla shoots in.
The song takes a turn – and and becomes powerful – with beefed-up guitars and more shine and boldness than a kingsnake.
This is an exciting mix of rock and funked-up furiously dancing beat – with the kind of voice that excites your toes and makes your face beam with happiness.
