Swedish Band Will Work on Their Album in the Public Display Window of a Stockholm Hotel

Swedish band Join The Riot have announced that they will check-in at the hotel Scandic Malmen in Stockholm to finish their debut album.

In the project “A glass cage of emotions” they will set up a provisional studio in one of the hotel display windows — facing onto one of the busiest street corners in Stockholm.

They say that by check-out, on the 31st of July,  they will have finished the album.

During the month people passing by will be able to see and follow their process.

There will be concerts, events and happenings with guest artists, musicians and spectators will be invited to join and interact.

“A glass cage of emotions’ is an experiment that hopefully could challenge the idea of how we record and release popular music today, in new environments and with unique conditions.

Their recent ‘Us Against The Wall’ is a chipper and happily upbeat number with generous rhythms, gorgeously sunny vocals and an overall feel that reminded us here at www.rawramp.com of Seeds of Love era Tears for Fears.
