News has reached us that the Melbourne, Australia based Progressive Metal Ensemble, Teramaze has signed to Music Theories Recordings which is a part of the Mascot Label Group.
The band’s first release for the label — ‘Her Halo’ — will hit stores at the end of October 2015.
Teramaze was originally formed during lead guitarist/producer Dean Wells teenage years. The band put out a couple of albums in the early years, but it wasn’t until the release of ‘Anhedonia’ in 2012 that Wells felt the modern version of Teramaze actually began.

This has flailing ribbons of emaciated synth-sound…
These tighten around the rapid guitars before setting free that soul-filled and high-spirited voice.
It’s melodic and positive. A piece of music that grips you and won’t let go…
Despite the masterful guitar-work and the skillful production, though, this may not be dark or heavy enough for some metal fans.
But for those who enjoy the theatrical power of metal — this hits the spot.
Ingenious guitar solos, fantastic vocals and inspirational sound elements… This is speed metal with prog intentions.
