For Fans of English Synthpop GIRL FRIEND Say Good Morning

Good Morning is the new track from the Manchester (UK) band Girl Friend whose 1980’s influenced pop electronic sounds are gaining fans around Europe.

It’s a pulsing celebration of idle hours and alone-time in the morning after an uplifting night before.

Fronted with a joyful croon by lead singer Amory the song comes with an itching dancefloor beat and feels like an extension to the evening.

The song is accompanied by a re-working from new Leeds DJ Josh Hunter, who adds further brilliance to the Mancunian quartet with a euphoric pop sound referencing early 1990’s dance music, to the point it feels like the sound of the night before the ‘Good Morning’ depicted in the original version.

If you loved Erasure then this is for you. Bumpy beats, sizzling synths and curvaceous vocals from  Amory.

Blips, burps and squeaky rhythms.

Gosh! This is wonderful…
