Freja is a young singer-songwriter who invents sensitive pieces with minimal embellishments and simplistic patterns — yet beautiful stories lurk inside every carefully detailed depiction.
Her debut EP Ghosts is a celebration of youth for Freja — covering topics such as love, loss and life, mixed with folklore and elements from Gothic novels.
We listened to Ghosts In The Snow:
Glittering like frost on pine needles — piano droplets cling to the skeleton of this stark song.
This allows the listener to focus on that precious voice.
It’s almost transparent at times, but deeply sensual.
