The Starkins are a four piece guitar-pop band from Rotherham, Northern England (they share the same postcode as Arctic Monkeys) who create jangly mid ’00s indie.

This has flaming, reverberating guitars and a cleverly limping rhythm that extends right across the rind of the song.
