SKY VALLEY MISTRESS featuring Kayley Davies on lead vocals are a rock ‘n’ roll and hard-blues quartet who take their influences from Zeppelin, Sabbath and the other low down and shifty-gritty outfits.
The band will be performing at this year’s Liverpool Sound City festival on 29th May.
Their Hell Ain’t Got Your Hound is sludgehead dark and as groovily high as a stoned hippy on a trippodellic mushroom hunt.
It sits somewhere between grunge and blues, with dirty guitar sounds, and low, low drumming…
This is not nearly so sad and fearsome as it sounds because of those irresistible twinkle-light vocals.
