New York’s rock ‘n’ rolling blues machine SKUNKMELLO have now issued Cardboard Box Disguise ahead of their highly anticipated Hot Chicken LP release.
We already came across their release, “Ridin’ the River” earlier in the year, which we said was “bursting with fiery riffs ‘n’ bulky fat licks...” plus had a “flamin’ voice that curled as snarled whilst drenched with a creamy blues-harp... ”
Cardboard Box Disguise is equally jangled and totally merry.
With a Rolling Stones vibe, sneering vocals, clever guitarwork and meticulous rhythms.
