The band BROTHERS OF METAL just dropped a new single called ‘Heavy Metal Viking’ on AFM Records.
It’s from their upcoming album ‘Fimbulvinter’ set for release on November 1st, 2024.
The fimbulvinter in Viking mythology is known as the Great Winter that foreshadows Ragnarök.
BROTHERS OF METAL are a remarkable force on the global metal scene, combining catchy & powerful songs with striking Norse-inspired attire. The Swedish band has gained an exceptional reputation with their first two album releases, ‘Prophecy Of Ragnarök’ (2017) and ‘Emblas Saga’ (2020).
Vocalist Mats Nilsson says: “‘Heavy Metal Viking’ has a sort of 80s southern hard rock feel, which is far from what you’d expect us to be doing.”
