Loose Lips Dr Evil

Consisting of Jason Barker (Lead Vocals and Guitar) Matt Don (Vocals and Bass) and Sam Perkins (Vocals and Drums) Loose Lips have the cheek and confidence to make you sit up and take note . And they possess the musical talent to back up all of that stunning bravado.

Taking the guitar based dexterity, and the song-writing skills, of  bands like ‘Biffy Clyro’ – then combining that with the freshness and style of  bands  like ‘Kids In Glass Houses’,  the Loose Lip songs flow together confidently, each with a distinctive style and a vigorous attitude.

After a phenomenal response from their debut EP releaseCloud Your Thoughts’ the band are arguably one of the busiest groups out there.  With huge energy and undying motivation, these guys will enliven any event. Their numbers are invariably full of brazen joy and naughty cheerfulness.

Loose Lips 1

Loose Lips have now released a new track entitled Dr Evil.  We took a listen:

This rapidly grinding belter is as thrilling and as unexpected as having an icy Alka-Seltzer spritzer swooshed surprisingly up your  blurt.

It has got more twang than a thong flung in anger. Speckles of masterful guitar from Jason (guitar) are emblazoned with short, sharp bursts of percussive energy from Sam (drums).

And the “Don’t wait for me …” chorus looms up and and grabs hold of your googlies like the ignored ugly sister on a double-date.  Before you know what you’re doing,  her chaotic guff towing and persistent fingering will leave you feeling well-and-truly peeled and shucked.  And was it all worth it?    Who knows?   But it was fun.
