The Acoustic Festival of Britain 2013

With less than four months to go before this years Acoustic Festival of Britain, this week you have your last chance to buy tickets using as special easy payment plan.

The Acoustic Festival of Britain is a 3 Day music festival – held at Uttoxeter Racecourse on May 31st  to June 2nd 2013 –  that boasts an eclectic programme of Unplugged and Acoustic music from the genres of Folk, Roots, Celtic, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Pop, Rock, Ska, Burlesque, a few legends and much more.  Unplugged & Acoustic music at its very best

Along with The Hollies (Saturday) and The Proclaimers (Friday), other acts already confirmed for this year include The Christians, Baka Beyond, Miles Hunt & Erica Nockalls of The Wonder Stuff,  The Quireboys, Curved Air, Merry Hell, Jenny Belle Star, Gareth Gates, John Otway, Rory McLeod, Ed Tudor Pole, Eric Faulkner, Simon Townshend (The Who), Phil Cool, BabaJack, Daisy Chain Quartet, Pelico, Rusty Shackle, T.Rextasy, Tracey Hunter, Fake Thakray, Martin Stephenson, Patsy Matheson, Northern Quarter, David Phillips,Biggles War Time Band, Rob Halligan, Rusty Shackle, Radio Mary, Sons of Clogger, WeeBagBand, The Roving Crows, Wildfire Folk, The Hut People, T.J & Murphy, Daisy Chain Quartet, Polly Money, Cruel Folk, Sam Beeton, Louise Petit, Rubber Duck Orchestra, Afternoon in Paris, Me & Deboe, Rose Redd, Laura Thalia, Frazer Kennedy, Tori Lamb, Jemma Johnson, Alice Maciborsky, Nanateas & Krafty Favill.


Running throughout the Festival will be The Acoustic Guitar Feast, with concerts and workshops from masters of the acoustic Guitar. These will include Rodney Branigan, Chris Chambers, Chris Woods, Tom Strasser, David Youngs, Nibs Van der Spuy, Chris Wood,Neil Campbell & Richard Taylor.

Now in its 7th year The Acoustic Festival of Britain returns to the market town of Uttoxeter to base its 3 day event, which has developed into a prestigious and relaxed family occasion for all generations. Ideally located in Central England, set in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside the olde worlde Uttoxeter Racecourse boasts stunning views and easy access on the A50 trunk road linking the M1 and M6. Uttoxeter Railway Station is conveniently situated and is just a 1 minute walk away.
