Last August we waxed lyrical about Cuushe and her “Do You Know The Way To Sleep (Slow Magic Remix)”
We described it as: “A subtle heart that falters and stutters alone” with “An ethereal voice that wafts softly from the cloudy veins – and wavers trembling to the ground.”
So we are excited to learn that her mesmerising new album ‘Butterfly Case’ is set for release.
In support of this new album, Cuushe unveils the new video for her song ‘I Love You’ which is created by flau label mates Twigs and Yarn (Lauren McMurray and Stephen Orsak.)
We had a listen to the new vid (below) – Here’s what we thought:
An agreeable yet prickly start introduces the silky curling voice of Cuushe.
This curves around the stable axis of the regular beat like a dizzy seashell caught in a spiral.
Sprinkled with polygons and assorted luminous remnants, this piece is a fuzzy nebulous mass of powder-star glinting surrounded by an aura of warmth and love.
