On October 6th FatCat records will present ‘Unravelling’, the 3rd album by Scottish powerhouse We Were Promised Jetpacks.
Ahead of this they have revealed an Audio Tree live session video for ‘Night Terror’; a warm and pulsing earworm that sees them at their most brooding and melancholic, the lyrics twist and turn with vehement intensity which is wrapped in a cinematic glow.

A reliable toe-tapping beat urges a sluggish bass to begin its work.
Then tiny pin-pricks of guitar flitter out across a moody, vacant room.
A gaseous vibe emanates before the forsaken vocal seeps out like mahogany clotted sap from warm-tone chinaberry lumber.
The effect is exotic, ripe and mysteriously addictive.
