BAILE is the electronic side-project of New York downtempo act Silent Rider.
Baile now releases two original tracks from forthcoming “From The Depths” EP.
Both singles highlight BAILE’s unique fusion of shadowy ideas and chillwave nuances with hip-hop and deep house influences.
We listened to “Manic” :
We do not know much about the intelligence of cetaceans.
But we guess that dolphins can eavesdrop passively on each other’s communications. And thoughts.
This is what seems to be going here…
Among the raging waves – the flying cold shards of rime against a rocky coastline of gravel sounds … a sudden sharp coldness fills the air.
And we share the experience.
It is is one of of growing mistrust and caution
It’s as if our bountiful existence can become a disturbing place. Very quickly. And we need to work as a pod to overcome any threats.
This piece of music is resolute, determined and pre-emptive.
