Canadian music producer / composer Melleny Brown aka Melleefresh first became active in the Toronto dance music scene of the 1990’s.
In 2008, Melleefresh was nominated for a Juno Award for her collaboration with deadmau5, entitled “Afterhours”.
When working with deadmau5 as “Freshmau5”, she has provided main vocals for several notable tracks, such as “Hey Baby”, “Sex Slave”, “Attention Whore” and, of course, “Afterhours.”

We listened to new release “Apparitions” :
This has the pounding, grinding mechanism of a gristmill – crushing tubs of huge oblique power.
The vocal arcs brilliantly throughout the electrostatic surface – auto re-igniting all the complex gases that make-up this vast and magnificent composition … and increasing the surface energy a hundredfold.
Immeasurably wonderful sounds – charged with a fresh icy voice so super-crisp that it will cause unexpected chemical reactions deep within your shell.
‘Apparitions’ via Play Records is available on 6 October
