Incendiary and glossy North London punk-trio Waltzer propel their thrilling crossover pop into the public domain by way of debut single, ‘Superfine’- available to download on Oct 11th.
If you enjoy the raucousness of The Runaways, the dynamism of Ash and the slick song-craft of Garbage – you will surely love this.
Singer-guitarist Alison Dear offers her punky roughness to the bristling thickets of percussion from Vicky (on drums) and urgent playfulness of Allan (on bass.)

We listened to Superfine:
The angelic voice is as crisp as a paper-pink rose-bud – as this number moves briskly along.
It’s like a rusty Cortina smokily cruising down the Queen’s highway – side flashes of silvery guitar streaked along each flank.
Guitars are rich jangle-frills – but the focal point is always that ice-cold voice – so reminiscent of Susanna Hoffs – especially from the early 1980s Bangle days.
More glam power-pop than punk – this bottle-blond number is fun and fizzy – without the distraction of grit-in-the-eye aggro or over-spun political fury.
