This song has oodles of ratty-tatty charm to spare. The rhythms are full of chirpy optimism – curious – given the subject matter.
The voice of Bomar Faery is not unlike Bowie (about Hunky Dory period) – in fact this piece has a glam-rock ruffle to it — You can almost smell the sequins.
Crisp bass from Danny gives this a boost and guitars sizzle like butter in the pan.
This is slapstick, fresh-faced Brit-Rock — full of Grimaldian flavours, down-on-luck vocals and a sound so glam that it will perform pirouettes around your ear canals.
