The Fawn – Aqueous beats sit besides snappy drums and combing, elasticized guitars…

We have been having a listen:

Sleeping Lion’ is a distraction of churning guitars that ride with feverish abandon over hot sipping keys.

The listless vocals are stylish without being opulent. Everything blurts here … with stars, jerks and itching yanks.

Title track ‘Branches’ has a pulsing pace that tootles rather pile-drives.

Aqueous beats sit besides snappy drums and combing, elasticized guitars … these offer a familiar sound that lies somewhere between the dreamlike and the psychotic.

The slivers of wafery vocal tussle gently with the various tangled shapes. This is moonlight bonkers.

Reminder’ has chuckling guitars and a scratchy rhythm.

The voice here is as smooth and as delicately high as kite-silk.  And is glued to the joy of that melodious guitar. This piece gradually blossoms like a sea anemone sprouting from the sediment.

Peculiar whorls and fabulously tapering, fibrous sounds – create extraordinary visions and a full palette of colours for your mind.
