New York’s Jarflower have released their new track “Haunted”.
Carved from 90s rock, dangerous riffing, and gathering together some serious pop sensibility, Jarflower destroys stages with their tight rock n’ roll tunes and anthemic sensibilities.
We had a listen to Haunted:
This buzzes at you — as it quarrels.
The fuzzy riff soon opens your heart and will cause a smile to bleed across your face.
The wise and sneering vocal wipes across the sound like a streak of mud across fresh new sheets.
The slightly sluggish drumwork is clean and natty — handled with a smooth touch.
This seems partly about revenge and partly about the seedy side of regret.
A track full of anguish and heartbleed with a biting vocal and a host of growling riffs that will wake up your thorax and keep your bones vibrating…
