The London (UK) pop-noir male/female sextet THE VULTURES will release their new single ‘Weakest Storm’ on 4 May on Ciao Ketchup Recordings.
We had a listen:
A striding beat staggers along, wounded — cajoled by shots of abrupt young violin.
The vocal is biscuity — and although the lyrics are “Worn out be the weather…” It all seems rather jolly — perhaps because of the scattered ‘Heys’ and the constantly fermenting string accompaniment
Mysterious alt-rock that side-steps convention by using cello, violin, viola, bass and simple drums — yet offers offers total bewitchment and many unforgettable moments.
