East London (UK) based band ‘Teddy’ (reduced down from a four-piece to pop trio) — was originally born out of a lifelong friendship between Tom Falle & Eddy Bailhache ( and now with Alex Glover ) — the band are sharing their video ‘Happy Tim’ ahead of their second ‘TEDDY Party’ live show at The Islington on May 28
Their live shows are often described as turmoil-filled creations that are heavy on intrigue and generally sensational.
They take their influences from the likes of Arcade Fire. Sounds simply fizz while various percussive elements flow into each other, choking, foaming and jingling.
Teddy vocals are often clear and stringy — and they tend to lead us through untidy landscapes that are as a sharp and prickly as paddle-cactus forests.
This new song start with big chewy rhythms and inside-out arrangements.
The voices are smooth and buttered…
The big sound here is the glorious dark blue silkiness that travels along the road with that handsome melody.
