PINK CIGAR are the best kept secret in rock n’ roll.
Based around Notting Hill Gate, this West London four piece comprising of Whiplash Jackson (Vocals), Edd Whyte (Guitars/ Vocals), Sam Rutland (Bass) and Sid Mayall (Drums) have been blowing the minds of unsuspecting crowds wherever they go.
Now they are preparing to release their single Generation Next.
We had a listen:
Imagine the fizzing energy of punk with the barn-storming beat of heavy rock plus the blistering bass-heavy bumptiousness of classic rock ‘n’ roll… Then you get somewhere close to the carbon dioxide excitement of Pink Cigar.
This has a scream-along chorus and more repressed, fizzing fiasco than a cracked bottle of Cava going off in an over-heated spumante factory.
Excitement, exuberance and crazy vivacity… Yes, this has it all. More fun than you can possibly imagine.
