The Chicago, IL based rock and roll and post-funk band “The Main Squeeze” composed of Ben “Smiley” Silverstein on keys, Max Newman on guitar, Corey Frye (voice) Jeremiah Hunt on bass and Reuben Gingrich on drums — have released their new single “Angelus” — produced by former American Idol judge Randy Jackson for their next LP ‘Mind Your Head’ .
This exciting band have already played some of the most important festivals, including Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Summercamp and Gathering of The Vibes.

We had a listen to the new single:
Effortlessly silky synths spool like thin threadsnakes around the pattern of that sexy beat.
This allows Corey to flex his naturally elegant and beautiful soulflower vocals around the sexible rhythms.
Guitars shuttle faster in the background, breaking down the network structure, and the pace is fat with a touch of deliciously oozy jazz.
Here is a song full of adoration and created by a bunch of nice people who want to give you the most pleasure.
Angelus is endearing and positive with a sweetadelic grooviness…
