The London, England based guitar-driven genre-bending indie pop band Escapists have been around since 2010 bringing their tight rhythms, classy instrumentation and splendid vocals to evermore appreciative audiences..
We have been listening to “What Are You Waiting For” — the new single (out Sept 18th)
This has a jogging pace (but not too busy, so you will avoid any nipple rubbing) — the voice is high and angelic, but without being self-centred or over-exalted.
The pure vocal brings intense emotion without being corny… It is filled with starlight & lustre.
The guitars are sweetly sentimental, and perfectly organised… Yes this whole thing is just peachy!
This is mood enhancing pop perfection… It manages to convey moments of sadness and sweet emotion, hidden behind well-tailored pockets and cuffs.
