The Toronto-based alternative rock group The Wooden Sky have a brand new video out for their single ‘When The Day Is Fresh and the Light is New‘.
It’s released ahead of this week’s UK Tour and is taken from their album Let’s Be Ready.
The band are in the UK touring with Yukon Blonde [dates below]
We had a listen:
‘When The Day Is Fresh, And The Light Is New‘ bubbles ‘n’ boils like a pot full of oil.
The woozy guitars lull the colly lead voice as it slides, like so much coal-tar, across a shimmering net of sound.
The rhythm is neat and self-regulated. The melody is appealing, self-satisfied and hopeful.
