We have been listening to the new single ‘Communion’
This glimmers, rings and reverberates. With sub-zero, cold-blooded torment.
The rhythms seem to stumble across glass encrusted surfaces before a voice seeps out through the vents.
The voice is noble, even if slight, as it turns in the air to catch sight of its own reflection in the ice glass.
Harmonies are dark and cavernous and they fill the background with dramatic cavity.
If all that were not intriguing enough, we also have a twangy guitar … And, like all the things in this song, it starts a starry ascendency towards the sacramental platform.
