Three Super Blues Artists to Seek Out — ELIANA CARGNELUTTI + SADIE JOHNSON + HEATHER CROSSE

As regular readers of RAW RAMP will know, we have been extolling the virtues of first-rate blues guitarists like CHANTEL MCGREGOR, ERJA LYYTINEN  and SAMANTHA FISH  for a long while…

Here are three more girls with guitars that you should get to know

1: Eliana Cargnelutti

She comes from the Udine – North Italy near Slovenia. Her vibrant guitar-play is noted for its funkiness. 'Just for Me' buzzes and rattles in all the right places. Photo by Giordano Sala

Just for Me‘ buzzes and rattles in all the right places. And the chorus drills itself deep within your furrows.

Bloomington, Indiana based Sadie admits to being influenced by The Allman Brothers.

She throws herself heart ‘n’ soul into her songs…

Her tresses flow as freely as those electrifying licks. And she’s one helluva dee-lish singer too!

3: Heather Crosse

People have been buying up Arkansas Heather’s Groovin’ at the Crosse Roads recent release by the truck-load… and by the end of the 2015 her recording was recognised as one of the top 50 Blues Albums of the year (http://www.rootsmusicreport.com/)

Songs like ‘Damn Your Eyes‘ have soft luxurious textures, carefully revealing lyrics and rivulets of sweet tender guitar.
