Oxford Alt-Rockers TANNERS POOL are ready to broaden the horizons of their sound with the release of their debut EP Out of Line, due for release next week via Alt/Logic and available to pre-order via the band’s website.
The band, sporting songwriting duo Matt Ashdale (vocals, guitar) and Jess Ashdale (lead guitar, backing vocals) along with Shoji Maeno (drums) and Seth Roberts (bass) launch their EP on the 22nd July 2016 at The Jericho Tavern in Oxford, UK.
Meanwhile, we listened to their free track Plastic Wings, which is available to download via the band’s Soundcloud page.
This is a pounding excitement … filled with twists of spiral guitars and downbeat vocals that scurry beneath tatty beats until the chorus springs forth like mamma-ewe defending a lamb.
Brave, cautious and protectively insistent.
