Los Angeles’ KING WASHINGTON draw influences from diverse styles such as Grizzly Bear, The Talking Heads, The Beatles and Crosby, Stills & Nash and are in the thick of what has been described as the “New California sound.”
Band members members Tyson Kelly (guitar, keys, vocals) George Krikes (lead guitar, vocals) and Billy Lee (bass, vocals) joined by David Contreras on drums, meld classic vocal harmonies and wondrous lyrical melodies with a contemporary approach to songwriting.
The band has created a bold and incomparable sound that is as inventive and modern as it is familiar.
Now the indie rockers sign to The End Records for new studio album.
The band had this to say: “We are thrilled to sign with The End Records. They’ve been friends of ours for a few years now, and it’s safe to say we’re mutual fans of each other. This marks an exciting new chapter for us, as we look forward to marching forward together with the great people at The End […] to the future!”
“My Reflection” is the first single to be taken from the new album and will be available for download February 17, along with a new official video.
