Following the release of the latest album ‘Pills’ in June, BIG BOY BLOATER — whose voice we once described as “gravelly as a Mississippi stream ‘n’ more guttural than a gopher frog calling out across the dark swampland…” together with his slimmed-down band: The LiMiTs — will be on the road from September thru October touring the UK. [Dates below video]

Precipitating rhythms and mischievous cavorts…

We love Big Boy’s precipitating rhythms and his mischievous cavorts, so this tour promises to be mighty fun…

The Surrey born musician re-focusses himself on his art and the new album titled “Pills” is a contemplation of his clearer head: “I guess a lot of stuff happened on the Luxury Hobo tour. Maybe after the depression, my minds a bit more open and turned on to things, so I have observed more.

Recorded in December 2017 with producer Adam Whalley [ JJ GREY, Vintage Trouble, Dan Patlansky] the band, now a power trio with Big Boy Bloater (vocals/guitar), Matt Cowley (drums) and Steven Oates (bass) is already considered to be a rip-roaring success…

The title track [shared below] starts with a wide & magnificent cinematic sweep until the sappy rock ‘n’ roll guitar busts in like a muscle-bound attendant on a prison farm… and has all the flavour and reckless panache of an early morning fruit-rum cocktail. Splendiferous stuff!
