MATT PEARCE & THE MUTINY — Live 2020 Dates

The prodigiously talented and highly polished MATT PEARCE & THE MUTINY bring more dance-rock numbers & stunning blues to venues across the UK this year, including festival appearances at Legends of Rock, Great Yarmouth, Looe Blues Rhythm and Rock, and Planet Rock Winter’s End. City venues will include London, Norwich and Nottingham.

Gotta Get Home
Gotta Get Home

Matt had always been a fan of the funkiness of bands such as Gov’t Mule or the gnarlified boogie of Tedeschi Trucks, so it was natural that the VOODOO SIX guitarist would bring along his funkier side to his own songs, with fresh melodies that have been sun-washed by Southern-style harmonies, which is why he established “The Mutiny” project to bring such sounds to new audiences.

The new album “Gotta Get Home” which we have described as “beautifully crafted and expertly performed,” has been high ranking in the blues-rock charts, and is consistently rated as “awesome.”

Matt says: “After the mind-blowingly amazing 2019, when the reception to the album and the live shows were beyond all great expectations, I’m super-excited to get going with 2020 and see where the adventure takes me… I’ve got some great new funky tunes underway, can’t wait to get them out there! But while you’re waiting, see y’all on the road in the next few months...”

The maestro is currently working on album #2. So stay tuned for more news on this when we have it…

If you like bootsy groove and funky-fortifying soul, get down to at least one of these shows…
