Originating back in 2008 “Girl Like Me” was recorded by SHAKIRA with WILL.I.AM in his studio long before this global pandemic forced such cuddly coactions to be the stuff of legends. After creating several versions of the song, the favored rendition now makes it onto “Translation” — the eighth BEP studio album, released June 2020 (video shared below.)
Also appearing on the Latin-pop flavored confection “Translation” were such notables as: J Balvin, Ozuna, Maluma, Nicky Jam, Tyga, El Alfa, Piso 21, Becky G, and French Montana.
