Here on RAW RAMP island we’re excited to hear new dark-synth sound and especially when they come with as much sparkle, ingenuity and frothiness as this…
We’re pleased to present the darkish yet anxious sounds of MARVA VON THEO who are a Greek-Austrian pop-synth duo (Marva Voulgari and Theo Foinidis) — two classically trained musicians who united together in 2017 to experiment with sounds.
One month after releasing their admirable sophomore album titled “Afterglow” they now present a new song: “Dissolve” (video single shared below) — that examines the deepest penetrations of love (oooh er, missus…)
The number has a tireless beat (that speaks of tethered emotion as well as bubbling sensuality) and Marva’s colorless voice (when it arrives… following a long but enjoyable commute) — is as shadowy as a coffin lid and delivered cold as a priestess. Yet, like the type of sublimated love it speaks of, this song carries a romantic luminosity that delivers its own cool charm. Vivid!
The new album ‘Afterglow’ is out now!
