Minds Eye Bonamassa Music Video

JOE BONAMASSA In Mind

Blues-rock super-legend JOE BONAMASSA has unveiled a new single “Mind’s Eye” (with accompanying music video, shared below) to precede an excitatory UK tour starting April 20th that includes two nights at London’s esteemed Royal Albert Hall (May 5-6.) See dates on tour poster below.

Mind’s Eye” is a clearheaded sway with sapphire tones & nuzzling textures, lucid in tone and molten in nature.  The defending chorus is admirable and the culmination is one of conscience and gratitude. The atmosphere called forth on this exquisite number reminded us of something that could surely have turned up on Wishbone Ash’s Wishbone Four (1973). In other words, this is brooding, vulnerable, and more fallible than we’ve ever heard from Joe before… “Mind’s Eye” is existential!

lucid in tone and molten in nature…

About the video,  Roy Weisman, the CEO of Joe’ U.S. label J&R Adventures says: “Joe wanted this video to emulate the great prog rock videos of the past using cool custom illustrations and psychedelic scenes.”

Weisman adds, “The song has a very Pink Floyd feel so the video needed to step up and meet that unique vibe. The whole Time Clocks record is about a journey and “Mind’s Eye” gives you a fun glimpse of what could be swimming around in inside someone’s mind.

Time Clocks

This high-quality composition comes from Bonamassa’s recent album ‘Time Clocks’ (released by Provogue/Mascot Label Group October, 2021)  which RAW RAMP described as “an album of outstanding character…” and “multifaceted in aspiration.”

The 2022 UK tour will feature the guitarist performing alongside a hand-picked group of world-class musicians playing songs from “Time Clocks”, along with tracks from his vast catalogue of albums such as “Royal Tea”, “Redemption”, “Blues of Desperation” and “The Ballad of John Henry”, plus other fan favourites.
