Raw Ramp
We had an early listen of their E.P.
Keys To Kentucky, the title track, is a tenderly composed and efficiently performed song that captures an atmosphere of nostalgia and love. Endearing!
With a chugging rhythm, proficient vocals, and a touch of hazy melancholy, the ‘High and Lonesome’ lament has captivating charm.
‘Another Man Down’ is a weathered requiem that delivers flecks of grizzle and wear. It features alligatoring rhythms, soft scuffs of guitar, and vocals that are expressive and powerfully impactful. The song is a ferment of bittersweet sadness that, although melancholic, never comes across as depressing or mournful. Lingering!
The Keys To Kentucky E.P. is out 12th July, 2024
