PARKER BARROW is fronted by the husband-and-wife team of Megan Kane (lead vocals) and Dylan Turner (drums), delivering a hot recipe of blues-infused southern rock ‘n’ roll that comes super-packed with an abundance of addictive vision-invigorated energy.
The meeting of Kane and Turner occurred by chance in 2019, at a time when Turner needed a new singer for his band. The two quickly bonded and, in under a fortnight, began touring together to fully realize their shared musical aspiration and potential. The pair have been navigating the volatile existence of rock ‘n’ roll touring life from that point forward.
Alex Bender joined the outfit full-time in 2023, as their guitarist and musical director. Alex’s inventive solos and lively performances masterfully wove together the duo’s chemistry in the songs.

With influences from hard rock, southern rock, blues, and soul, the band creates compelling vintage sounds. We’ve described the Parker Barrow output as: “Truckloads of rock ‘n’ roll exuberance, with thrilling rhythms and spectacular Plantish vocals.”
The band skillfully weaves together a compelling mix of new and old influences, drawing from artists like the Allman Brothers, the Black Crowes, Blackberry Smoke, Johnny Cash, the Rolling Stones, Tedeschi Trucks, Whiskey Myers, and Led Zeppelin.
For example, the band’s newest single, ‘Glass Eyes Cryin’ (lyric video shared below) is a developing wrangle of sprung-steel guitar sizzle and cleverly indulgent (though never hyperbolic) vocals, set within an accomplished sense of cinematographical vision, and great pocketful’s of audacious swashbuckleness! The outcome sounds like Susan Tedeschi, channelling Derek and the Dominos. Amazing!
