London noise-rockers Silent Front have announced that their new album “Trust” will be released on Function Records.
They’ll be launching the album at The Victoria, 451 Queensbridge Road, Hackney on Sat Feb 1st.
We listened to ‘More Is Less’ taken from new album ‘Trust’ – Here’s what we thought:
Slim, wonky guitars limp through a mangled jungle of disconnected drumwork.
The vocal is taught and fiery – it comes to you like a flame of red pepper …
After that, the tinder-dry guitars begin to fume with hatred and anger – as they build in a twisted pile of bright sounds and hazardous vapours.
All the while, the riff merrily – yet clumsily – trudges along, below a mangled and turbulent surface. Clever stuff!
